A link opened this page instead of the app

iOS only checks which apps claim a domain when an app is installed. If you installed See as Me after receiving the link, delete it and install it again, then tap the link once more.

The camera shows nothing

Check Settings, then See as Me, and make sure Camera is on. iOS only asks once, so if it was refused the first time the only way back is through Settings.

Is this exactly how somebody sees?

No, and it cannot be. It is the closest approximation a screen can make. Two people with the same diagnosis do not see identically, and a phone display, the room you are in and your own eyes all sit between the simulation and you. What it does show faithfully is which colors collapse onto each other and which survive.

It says I am a type I did not expect

The type and severity are whatever you set them to. The app does not measure your vision, so the profile is your own estimate rather than a diagnosis. If you want a real one, an optometrist can do it properly.
